In the last month

Ros and Craig gave birth to a long and beautiful girl on the 29th of April...well Ros did all the work ;o)!
Welcome Emily Louise!!!

Earning his keep in his work bench...or taking after his grandfather

Hanging out with his mates

His very good mate, Takumi

Cousins Lina and Jasmine

Aunty Marisa

Cousin Bates and his beautiful daughter, Jasmine

Going out for his usual walk with Papa. He is quite the wiggle worm except when he is in his Papa's pouch. Here in Australia even the humans are marsupials ;o)))

He always 'crawls' to this speaker, more like rolling and army crawling, but he gets there. There is a Sargent Peppers album cover here that he always stares at...good taste already

Happy 6 months Francesco!!!

Rosetta, Francesco and Bates.
Bates always being silly to make Francesco laugh.

Well he is 7 months now, but here is his 6 month party. Family from Melbourne were in Adelaide to celebrate with us. We had a wonderful dinner cooked by Rosetta, a cake, music and dancing...what more could you ask for for a 6 month celebration!

Francesco, Lina, Bates and lovely little Jasmine

Dancing to Raffi!
...Ring, ring, ring, banana phone...

Happy 6 months lovely boy

Francesco and Jasmine are cousins

Francesco and Friends

This is an old photo, Francesco at 3 months, but one I keep meaning to post as I love it. Roz and Craig's boy Joesph (13 months in photo) along with our good friend Michael who would not hold Francesco when he was first born and now look at him!

We often spend time with our friend Ben and his daughter Olivia. We all live in the same neighborhood and Damian and Ben went to high school together. He will definitely visit us in America once we move back.

Olivia has many little cousins and is a pro at entertaining the little ones

John is also a school friend of Damian's and enjoys hearing himself sing ;o)

Michelle and John just got engaged!

Frankie and his girl, Abril

Kate, Takumi and Francesco. These boys are only 1 week apart. As you can see Francesco is the runt!

Ana's pool
Francesco, Ana, Abril, Kate, Takumi, Victoria and Ava

Francesco, Ava, Takumi, Sebastian and Abril
They all loved the pool!

Francesco, a little too comfortable floating in something that he wasn't quite heavy enough for!

Mum's Group

Francesco is in the light blue overalls. And his best mates are all to his right (Takumi, Abril, Sebastian and Ava)

Our yoga mums and bubs took part in a 6 week mum's group in our neighborhood with 8 other mums and bubs organized by an organization called Child and Youth Health. We learned a few things but mostly we just played...any excuse to get together really! These photos are from our last session. To get this photo of 13 young babies awake, not feeding or sleeping at the same time took 6 weeks ;o)

Frankie, Sebby, Taka, Ava and Abril

Ava and Frankie...only 4 days apart...really!

WOMADelaide

Takumi sat on his own for the first time at WOMAD! Francesco is working on it, though he can roll around like a maniac.

My first festival as a mum. WOW was it a different experience!!! My dear friend Kate and her beautiful Takumi as well as the lovely Lauren from Uni made the day all the more wonderful. This festival is called WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance) and it tours all over the world. Absolutely fantastic. Damian and I went last year for the first time, that was also an experience as I was newly pregnant and could not enjoy the wonderful Australian wine or beer on a day well over 100 degrees. Thankfully we had beautiful weather this year that our babies could enjoy. Neil Finn was definitely the highlight! I love my boy but next year Kate and I decided toddlers stay home and mummas enjoy a day out, YEAH!!!

The beautiful Kate

Usually Francesco is the one sucking on other babies...teaching Takumi bad habits

Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu

Uni mate Lauren who loves Francesco to pieces

Taking a VERY short break

He didn't make it for the last show, but let his mumma enjoy it
