I miss my sister too!!!

As you all know my sister visited Adelaide just recently and now she has gone back to her lovely family and the very snowy and cold Chicago winter...and we miss her heaps. We nick-named her the Baby Whisperer as she helped tremendously with our transition into parenthood. After all she does have 5 children in her home at the moment! So here are some photos of our time together and we all look forward to next Christmas when we will be together in Chicago!!!

At Francesco's baptism, Marco suggested to Jocie to stand by the stain glass window for a photo (she was holding Francesco) and her dress caught fire from the tea lights in the window!!! Marco dramatically and urgently put out the fire with his hands as it made a foot long slit up her (MY) dress. Both have burns to prove it, Marco more than Jocie! I was on the other side of the church and looked over at them as Marco was slapping her and I thought he was getting a little too silly in church! Rosetta witnessed the whole episode and said the fire went up her dress very quickly. Jocie remained calm and held onto our lovely boy ;o)

I miss you Aunty Jocie!!!

Our lovely midwife, Helen, who comes to visit us for the first 6 weeks of Francesco's life and saw me through my pregnancy. And this is the public health care system where I get this treatment! She is a saving grace, I bombard her with lots of questions every time she visits ;o)

There is a baby photo of Damian with this pose, all natural. Damian was carrying him in his sling for an hour in our neighborhood and we hoped he still had this pose when we got home to take a photo...

I am 5 days over my due date and trying to be patient ;o)
We have just finished a full moon period and the hospitals were overflowing...our baby wanted some peace and quiet during his/her labor.

We went to a family wedding on the weekend and Damian's aunty, Tosca (mother of the bride) was relieved I didn't go into labour during the wedding. She gave me permission towards the end of the night to go ahead with it ;o).
We are at the Botanical Gardens and Wine Centre in Adelaide, a few vines behind us, yuummmmm.

1 Down!!!

Ana and Cristian had a beautiful baby girl named Abril and I'm next!!! Though Amanda and Kate (the 2 in the middle) are both due Thursday, so the race is on. Kate and I are birthing at the same Birth Centre, so maybe we'll tag team our births! I am 39 weeks and due tomorrow!!! We are trying all the natural remedies to bring it on and waiting with anticipation. Lots of love to everyone and we'll get the word out as soon as possible when our lovely baby comes into the world or our Junior Burger, as our friend Michelle likes call our baby ;o).

Here is my pregnant posse! We do yoga, we go swimming, we go out to lunch and today we had afternoon tea at Ana's home. Pretty soon we won't have time for these luxuries!!! We all met in yoga and are all expecting our first baby, hence the time to do all the social activities.

In order of due date, Ana in red is due very soon! myself, Kate and Amanda are due in 4 weeks and Victoria on the far right has 6/7 weeks to go.
